About the Company

Cater Care is a 100% Australian-owned and operated catering and facilities provider, and we are looking for a passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen operations at our contract site in Ensham, QLD.

Cater Care takes pride in creating a "home away from home" for thousands of remote workers, and we need your culinary expertise to make it happen.

The Role

• Team Leadership: Mentoring, motivating, and managing a diverse kitchen crew to deliver exceptional food services.
• Culinary Excellence: Overseeing high-volume food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistent quality and comfort.
• Operational Control: Managing kitchen budgets, stock control, and ordering with autonomy.
• Safety & Compliance: Championing strict food safety, hygiene, and OH&S standards to foster a collaborative and safe environment.

About You

• Qualified & Experienced: You are a Trade Qualified Chef with proven experience as a Head Chef (or you are a superstar Sous Chef ready to take the reins).
• Industry Knowledge: Experience in remote, FIFO/DIDO, bulk catering, or large-scale hospitality operations is highly regarded.
• Natural Leader: You have strong people skills and know how to build and maintain a positive team culture.
• Organized: You possess excellent time management skills and an unwavering commitment to quality and safety.
