We are a 100% Australian-owned and operated catering and facilities provider, and we are looking for a passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen operations at our contract site in Hera NSW. At Cater Care, we take pride in creating a "home away from home" for thousands of remote workers, and we need your culinary expertise to make it happen.

As our Head Chef, you won't just be cooking—you will be the driving force behind the site's culinary success and morale.

Key Responsibilities

• Mentor, motivate and manage a diverse kitchen crew to deliver exceptional food services.
• Oversee high-volume food preparation, cooking and presentation to ensure consistent quality and comfort.
• Manage kitchen budgets, stock control and ordering with autonomy.
• Champion strict food safety, hygiene and OH&S standards to foster a collaborative and safe environment.

About You

• Be a Trade Qualified Chef with proven experience as a Head Chef, or be a Sous Chef ready to take the reins.
• Have experience in remote, FIFO/DIDO, bulk catering or large-scale hospitality operations; this is highly regarded.
• Have strong people skills and the ability to build and maintain a positive team culture.
• Possess excellent time management skills and an unwavering commitment to quality and safety.
