About the Role
As a Graduate Environmental Advisor, you will undertake duties such as noise and vibration monitoring, ground and surface water management, air quality monitoring, waste management, and a range of environmental projects you can only experience at Glencore’s diverse mining complexes. You will have the opportunity to gain valued experience in environmental monitoring and project management while rotating through different job roles. Joining a team of environmental professionals will allow you to learn from the best, whilst you assist in optimising program strategies and implement industry best QA/QC protocols, collate and analyse environmental monitoring data to quantify performance, complete technical reports and provide overall support to the environmental team in managing key improvement projects. You will have the opportunity to work with leaders in your field in the following locations:
- Mount Isa, QLD (Residential)
- McArthur River Mine, NT (FIFO)
- Murrin Murrin Operations (FIFO)
About You
- Qualified with a Bachelor of Science (Environmental / Environmental Management / Ecology) or similar (prior to commencement)
- Committed to maintaining a safe work environment
- Exhibit an openness and willingness to learn
