About the role

The Finance and Commercial team partners with our business to provide a full spectrum of finance activities both from a corporate point of view, and at our mining operations.  A combination of Group Office (Sydney) and site-based rotations are expected throughout the program.

Within Group Finance this may include:

• ASX accounting and monthly reporting,
• Statutory reporting including the balance date audit process and;
• Shared Services including the accounts payable process.

Within Group Commercial this may include:

• Running a tender process,
• Annual strategic and operational planning.
• Group capital expenditure process
• Treasury operations.

During your site rotation you may be part of:

• The accounting and monthly reporting process,
• Life of mine planning and annual budgeting.
• Business improvement projects such as identification, scoping implementation and tracking

About you

To be successful, this candidate will require a Commerce, Business, Law, Economics or similar degree completed within the last two years.

It is also important that you have/can demonstrate:

• Capability to coordinate numerous activities within a demanding environment.
• Proactive, energetic, ambitious and eager to learn
• People oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Innovative skills and the ability to think outside the box
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
• Strong attention to detail combined with critical and analytical skills
