Job Summary

We are seeking a Geology Technician with open pit mining experience to assist the mine geologists and production team based out of Leonora

Job Statement

Due to ongoing growth in open pit operations, we are seeking a Geology Technician with open pit mining experience who is motivated and enjoys working as part of a dynamic team within a growing company.
Reporting to the Geology Superintendent and working an 8/6, 7/7 roster, the role can be FIFO from Perth to Leonora, DIDO from Kalgoorlie or available for local residential.

The Opportunity:

• Monitoring ore mining to maximise recovery and minimise dilution
• Providing accurate records of ore mining activities
• Conducting ore mark-ups and prepare areas for mining
• Co-coordinating grade control activities
• Grade control sampling
• Assisting the mine geologists and production team with general duties as required

We’re excited to hear from you if you have:

• Driver’s license (C Class, manual car) – essential;
• 2+ years employment history as a Geology Technician or Pit Technician
• Experience in working with different types and styles of deposits
• Well-rounded technical and geology software skills
