THE ROLE

• Assist the Geologists with field activities to ensure safe and efficient program completion
• Develop knowledge of RC and diamond drilling processes and mining environments
• Perform drill rig and core yard duties, including accurate sample handling, processing and dispatch
• Prepare drill sites by marking pads and sumps, identifying hazards, and ensuring readiness
• Conduct quality control/quality assurance on sample collection, documentation, and lab delivery
• Enter and manage geological data using Microsoft programs with a focus on accuracy
• Support safety initiatives including incident reporting, workplace inspections, and training via INX and LMS systems
• Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and OH&S guidelines
• Participate in safety meetings and contribute to a positive safety culture

WHAT DO I NEED

• Current “C” Class Western Australian driver’s licence (essential)
• Forklift Licence (desirable)
• Advanced 4WD Training (desirable)
• Demonstrated expertise in all aspects of field sampling activities
• In-depth knowledge of RC and Core drilling methods
• Proficient in all sampling procedures and sample dispatch protocols, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
• Skilled in surveying protocols
• Excellent numerical, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly
• Reasonable computer skills & literacy, particularly across the MS Office suite
• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
• A can-do, team-oriented attitude
• Solid problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and be adaptable
• Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment
