Dalgaranga is a high‑grade underground mine anchored by the exceptional Never Never and Pepper deposits, hosted within the Archean Dalgaranga Greenstone Belt and characterised by steep, structurally controlled gold lodes. With a solid 10-year mine life supported by strong exploration momentum and a solid production outlook, Dalgaranga plays a key role in Ramelius’ long-term growth strategy.

About the Role
The Geology Manager leads the geology function in a production environment that is rapidly scaling up, overseeing orebody interpretation, modelling, grade control and operational support. You will provide steady, safety‑focused leadership to ensure accurate geological inputs, strong team performance and consistent alignment to plan.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead the Geology department and act as the primary point of accountability on site.
• Drive a strong safety culture and ensure full compliance with all systems and statutory requirements.
• Oversee grade control, QAQC, and geological data quality to optimise recovery and minimise dilution.
• Deliver timely geological models and estimates aligned with the mining schedule and JORC 2012.
• Build, mentor, and develop a capable and technically strong geology team.
• Maintain clear communication with operational, resource, and exploration stakeholders.
• Provide geological input into operational decisions and Life‑of‑Mine planning.
• Manage budgets, costs, and contractor performance for geology and drilling activities
• Lead reconciliation processes and approve end‑of‑month geological reporting.
• Support resource definition and growth drilling programs in collaboration with Resource and Exploration teams.
• Undertake Alternate SSE duties as required

About You
You’re an experienced geology professional with a strong background in leading technical teams across open pit and underground operations. You bring solid geological expertise, sound judgement, and the ability to implement effective systems, oversee drilling and QAQC programs, and guide your team to deliver reliable geological inputs that support safe, efficient, and compliant production.

To excel in this role, you will need:

• Tertiary qualification is Geology or Geoscience
• Extensive site‑based leadership experience in geology team
• Background in both open pit and underground mining environments
• Strong knowledge of Archean greenstone and gold systems
• Proven ability to establish and maintain robust geological processes and procedures
• Broad experience in drilling design, supervision, sampling, and QAQC.
• Strong strategic thinking, planning, organisation, and time‑management capability
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, initiative, and problem‑solving skills
• Completion of LGIRS statutory training and examinations, including Schedule 26 and SSE certifications, is essential
