Front-End Loader / Mill Operator

Our client, a well-established construction materials manufacturer, is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Front-End Loader / Mill Operator to join their team at Naval Base on a temp-to-permanent basis.

This is a great opportunity for someone with fixed-plant and mobile machinery experience looking for ongoing work with a structured 7:7 roster where you can be home every night.

The Role

You will be responsible for operating heavy fixed-plant and mobile machinery across the manufacturing facility and yard, assisting with day-to-day production activities and general manual handling, including some heavy lifting.

Roster – 12-hour shifts

• 7 days on – Day shift (6:30 am–6:30 pm)
• 7 days off
• 7 nights on – Night shift (6:30 pm–6:30 am)
• 7 days off

Pay Rate

• $47.47 per hour flat casual rate + super
• Night shift: $54.59 per hour + super
• Applicable penalty rates for hours worked outside rostered shifts

Requirements

• Loader Operator Ticket (essential)
• Forklift Licence (essential)
• Current driver's licence and reliable transport
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen, with regular testing thereafter
• Confined Space Ticket (highly regarded)
• Working at Heights Ticket (highly regarded)
• Full Australian working rights (unfortunately, working holiday visa holders cannot be considered)
• Available for an immediate start
