Exploration Geologist

Your New Role

An opportunity is available for an Exploration Geologist to join an active field based drilling program in Far North Queensland . Working as part of a growing exploration team, you will assist with day ‑ to ‑ day geological activities across RC and diamond drilling programs . This hands ‑ on role is well suited to early career exploration geologists looking to gain strong site experience in a remote FIFO environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Geological logging of RC and diamond drill samples

• Sample collection, preparation, and dispatch

• Supporting drill programs with accurate data capture and documentation

• Assisting with QA/QC procedures

• Working closely with field crews to meet daily drilling and sampling targets

• Maintaining safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards onsite

This role operates on a 15:6 FIFO roster , day shifts only, flying to Cairns with DIDO travel to site.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• 2–3 years’ experience in mineral exploration

• Exposure to RC and diamond drilling programs

• Strong logging and sampling skills

• Current manual driver’s licence

• Ability to pass a full pre ‑ employment medical and D&A screening

• First Aid certification (preferred)

• Australian working rights or a valid working visa
