Join Civmec on a landmark energy transition project supporting Fortescue’s decarbonisation program at Eliwana and Flying Fish on a 2:1 FIFO roster. We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Engineer to deliver critical electrical and civil infrastructure on site in the Pilbara. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high‑profile project while working with a respected Australian-owned engineering and construction company.

The Role

• Process material take-offs and support procurement planning
• Liaise with FMG representatives regarding technical queries, inspections, scheduling and deliveries
• Prepare and maintain the Manufacturer Data Register (MDR)
• Develop method statements and organise project testing requirements
• Produce weekly progress reports and update schedules
• Ensure field inspection checklists are completed with client representatives
• Implement and maintain quality control techniques and QA standards
• Maintain accurate daily, weekly and monthly reporting
• Present clear, professional documentation and records

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or Construction Management
• Strong proficiency in MS Office
• Demonstrated understanding of QA processes and civil construction methodologies
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience in mining, oil & gas or large‑scale civil construction projects
