Our Opportunity
Location: Iron Bridge - Fortescue’s Iron Bridge project is located on the traditional lands of the Nyamal people.
Roster: 8D6R7N7R ex Perth
Join our high-performing Emergency Services team at Iron Bridge and play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our people for a 12 month contract. As the Emergency Services Lead, you’ll lead a skilled and motivated crew delivering first response, emergency management, and proactive safety initiatives across site.
This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact — from coordinating emergency response operations to driving continuous improvement in health, safety, and emergency preparedness.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Emergency Services professionals, fostering a culture of safety and professionalism
- Oversee daily operations, training, and readiness of the emergency response team
- Respond to and manage emergency situations including medical, fire, and rescue incidents
- Support site safety initiatives, audits, and emergency management planning
- Collaborate with key stakeholders
Qualifications and Experience
- Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue
- Certificate III in Public Safety (Fire Fighting and Emergency Operations)
- Cert IV in Pre-Hospital Care / Health Care
- Cert II in Security Operations - Desirable
- WA Class HR Driver’s license
- HLTPAT 005 Collect Specimens for drugs of abuse testing
- Diploma of Leadership and Management & Cert IV in Training and Assessing desirable
