Emergency Response Officer

Our client is a leading sustainability management client for various sites across Australia. Due to continuous growth and operational improvements, they are seeking an Emergency Response Officer for one of their sites in Western Australia on a 2 Week On 2 Week Off roster.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete medical stock checks for all requirements, including medications and medical supplies, and ensure adequate stock levels.
• Provide essential and precautionary assistance and medical advice on how to treat conditions, whether serious or non-serious.
• Complete drug and alcohol testing in conjunction with HSE.
• Provide training and assistance to the Emergency Response Team and coordinate site drills when required.
• Complete injury management prognosis and rehabilitation, liaising with various stakeholders for reporting requirements.

Experience Requirements

• 3+ years in a similar position on site or in a remote environment in Emergency Services.
• Experience diagnosing and providing strong medical advice based on the injury or issue.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualification / Certification Requirements

• Cert IV - Health Care.
• Advanced Life Support.
• Drug and Alcohol Certification.
• Current and valid Drivers Licence.
• Police Clearance within 12 months.
• Full, unrestricted Australian working rights required (Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or eligible visa holder). No visa sponsorship available.
