Dalgaranga is our newest long-life, high-grade underground mine, northwest of Mount Magnet. With the Never Never and Pepper deposits, it strengthens our long-term production and feeds the Mount Magnet hub, supporting our long-term growth strategy.

The Role
As Electrician, you'll play an important part in keeping our mobile equipment, village facilities, non-process infrastructure (NPI) and paste plant maintained to a high standard. As part of a small team, you'll carry out daily checks and breakdown maintenance, delivering safe, efficient and compliant preventative and reactive maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain electrical equipment across site, including the village, workshops, laydowns, lighting towers, fuel facilities, water systems and other surface infrastructure
• Carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance on the paste plant
• Deliver high-quality electrical maintenance and attend to breakdowns promptly
• Make sure all work complies with Mines Regulations
• Identify root causes of equipment failure through effective fault finding
• Make sure preventative maintenance and scheduled checks are completed as planned
• Work to site safety standards and established job procedures
• Support other trades within the Maintenance team as required
• Attend call-outs on a rotational basis
• Complete job records thoroughly and promptly in Pronto, and communicate stock requirements clearly
• Contribute to a collaborative, high-performance team culture

About You
You're an experienced electrician with a safety-first mindset, strong fault-finding skills and the ability to work well in a small team. You're adaptable, proactive and happy to support the wider maintenance team to keep critical assets reliable and performing.
You'll bring:

• Current WA A Grade electrical licence
• Refrigeration and air-conditioning qualifications, including a Cert II in split system air-conditioning and a current ARC refrigerant handling licence
• Significant experience in fixed plant maintenance, or mine site non-process infrastructure and village maintenance
• Sound knowledge of Mines Regulations and wiring rules
• A current WA C Class (manual) driver's licence and the ability to obtain a National Police Clearance for site access
• Cert IV in Instrumentation (preferred)
• HV Switching ticket (desirable, not essential)
• EWP, forklift, telehandler or Bobcat nationally accredited tickets (desirable)
• Additional High-Risk Work Licences, such as dogging, rigging or crane (desirable)
