About the Company
IntroductionOn behalf of our client, a High Profile Service Provider to the Oil & Gas Energy sector, we are presently sourcing a Cost Controller to support and liaise with all functional teams. This will be a 12 month contract open to local residential candidate based in Darwin, NT.
About the Role
- Support all Functional Teams to understand cost drivers, validate forecasts and ensure expenditure is correctly captured and classified against budgets and cost structures
- Prepare monthly cost and forecast reports, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure accuracy, completeness and timely submissions
- Reconcile actual expenditure against budgets to support accurate, auditable reimbursable cost claims to the Client
About You / Requirements
- Proficient in MS Office Suite - Word, Excel (VBA), Power Point, Visio, Outlook and SharePoint
- Preferred knowledge of ERP systems such as IFS, SAP, JD Edwards
- Exceptional communication skills with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders
- Collaborative workstyle and ability to build strong working relationships across all functions
- Be proactive, adaptable with strong analysis and critical thinking skills
