Operational since 1999, Bengalla is in Muswellbrook in the Hunter Valley, and supplies international markets with approximately 13 Mtpa.
The Opportunity
Working in a team comprised of the Community Relations Specialist, Business Support and Community Advisor and Business Support and Community Officer’s, you will be provided with an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team responsible for coordination of both internal and external events and liaising with community groups as well as providing broad administration expertise onsite. This role is front-facing and will require you to be the first point of contact for phone calls and for visitors reporting through to reception.
The Role
- First point of contact for visitors and answering/diverting internal and external phone calls
- Liaison with site visitors and contractors to coordinate site access
- Provide administration support to site, the Community Relations Specialist and team including maintaining records, managing correspondence, preparing reports, presentations and other documents, minute taking, maintaining stationary supplies and other ad hoc duties
- Assist with Bengalla’s social media pages (Facebook, LinkedIn) including posting advertisements and promotional materials
- Raise purchase orders
- Coordination of site travel requirements
- School engagement activities
- Collaborate with other departments within the business
- Event Management with both internal and external stakeholders
- Attend community events outside of normal business hours
- Work closely within the Community Team to deliver on KPI’s and budget
Qualifications and Experience
- Along with your administration experience, you will be a self-motivated person who works well within a team. No two days are the same and the role is broad working with both internal and external stakeholders.
- To be successful in this role, you will have the following qualifications and experience:
- Strong administration skills
- High level of proficiency with MS office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Attention to detail
- A passion for helping others and a can-do attitude
- Current Drivers Licence
- Valid Paid Working with Children Check
Highly Regarded but Not Essential
- Photography, digital and social media skills
- Experience with Canva
- Exposure to Microsoft Power BI and Pulse
