Are you an experienced AHS Technician looking to take the next step in your career? Our client, a leading mining organisation, is seeking a skilled and motivated technician to join their Autonomous Haulage Systems team, supporting production across a modern and expanding fleet.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance, optimisation, and support of Autonomous Haulage Systems (AHS) operating on Liebherr T 264/713-series and Hitachi autonomous trucks. You’ll work closely with mining operations, reliability teams, and OEM specialists to ensure AHS performance, safety, and availability meet site requirements.

Your new role

• Provide frontline technical support for AHS operations across Liebherr 713s and Hitachi autonomous haul trucks
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system and hardware faults
• Conduct routine inspections, calibrations, and software updates on AHS components
• Monitor fleet performance and identify improvement opportunities
• Collaborate with OEMs to implement system upgrades, patches, and enhancements
• Support commissioning of new trucks, infrastructure, and technology
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation
• Ensure all work is completed in line with site safety standards and procedures

What you\'ll need to succeed

• Previous experience in AHS support (Liebherr, Hitachi, Caterpillar, or Komatsu highly regarded)
• Strong understanding of mining systems such as fleet management, communications, and network infrastructure
• Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
• Background in electrical, communications, IT, mechatronics, or similar fields
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork capability
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced mining environment
• Cert 3 in Mobile Plant OR Cert 3 in Automotive Electrical Technology.
