Administrator, Maintenance - QCoal

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Maintenance Administrator to join our QCoal Northern Hub. Located around 100km south-west of Bowen, this site is based in Queensland’s picturesque Whitsunday Coast region, just minutes from the friendly town of Collinsville.

This role will see you working a 5/2 roster and reporting to the Finance Business Partner. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring on-site maintenance administration tasks are handled efficiently, accurately, and on time. Supporting the maintenance team with clear and timely information, you’ll be helping to drive optimal performance across the maintenance group

About You

We’re on the lookout for someone who’s organised, collaborative, and ready to bring their A-game. Here’s what will set you up for success:

• Providing assistance with the labour hire time sheets, hour reconciliations, invoices, payments & ensure information is timely and accurate.
• Creating requisitions and maintaining accounts payable workflow.
• Preparing monthly accruals and assisting with ad hoc end of month tasks within required deadlines.
• Facilitating site team queries and any ad hoc requests.
• Experience in administration, with exposure to maintenance, mining, or heavy industries being highly regarded.
• Familiarity with JDE or a similar business procurement system (advantageous).
• Competency with Microsoft Office packages.
• Strong time management and the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
• The ability to work effectively with a diverse team of people.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
