Workshop Mechanic - HD or LV Trade Cert****Approx. $135,000 Salary + Super (Permanent Full-Time)** Forrestdale Location
Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 5 PM (no OT or Weekend Work)

Our client is a well-established, nationally recognised supplier of plant and equipment to the construction industry, with operations across Australia. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Workshop Mechanic to join their Forrestdale team in a full-time role. 

If you're a qualified Heavy Diesel or Light Vehicle Mechanic with experience working on trucks, plant, heavy equipment or similar machinery, we'd like to hear from you!

What will this position entail? You will be working as part of an experienced workshop team, responsible for:

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing heavy vehicles, plant and equipment
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out mechanical troubleshooting
• Preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
• Completing service reports and updating workshop systems
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
• Working collaboratively with the workshop team to meet operational requirements
• Assisting with field service work when required

How can I be successful?

• Previous experience working on heavy diesel equipment, trucks, mining equipment, or similar heavy vehicles.
• Australian recognised trade qualification (HD OR LV Trade Cert Accepted!)
• Ability to pass a full medical and drug and alcohol test prior to commencement.
• Full Australian working rights
