About the Company

Our client is a leading USA and Australian manufacturer and supplier to the mining industry, specialising in the production of high-quality reverse circulation (RC) drills used for exploration.

Operating from their Welshpool facility, they also deliver complete rebuilds, maintenance, and servicing. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Welder / Fabricator (Boilermaker) with strong piping experience to join their team.

What's on Offer:

• $55 - $60 per hour flat + super
• Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:06pm ORD hours
• Consistent hours with overtime available
• Minimum 3-month contract, with potential for extension or permanency

Key Duties:

• Fabricating and welding pipework and associated components
• Carrying out general boilermaking and fabrication duties
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and fabrication plans
• Measuring, cutting, fitting and assembling pipework accurately
• Preparing materials and components for welding and fabrication
• Working with a range of materials and pipe sizes
• Inspecting completed work to ensure quality and accuracy
• Assisting with pressure testing and general workshop activities
• Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work environment

What You Need:

• Australian recognised Boilermaker / Welder / Fabricator trade qualification
• Proven experience in welding and fabrication, preferably with piping
• Strong MIG, TIG or Flux Core welding skills
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
• Strong understanding of fabrication, fitting and measuring processes
• Mining or heavy industrial experience highly regarded
• Reliable, safety-focused and able to work both autonomously and as part of a team
