About the Company

Our client is a well-established manufacturing and distribution business based in Maddington. They are seeking a reliable Warehouse Assistant to join their team in a full-time position.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role supporting both workshop and warehouse operations, working closely with materials, machinery, and production.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking and preparing materials for production and customer orders
• Loading and unloading trucks using a forklift
• Assisting with roll forming and general fabrication support (Colorbond products)
• Receiving goods and putting stock away
• Maintaining stock accuracy and basic documentation
• Keeping the workshop and yard clean and organised
• Supporting trades and production staff as required

About You / Requirements

• Valid forklift licence (LF) with strong forklift experience
• Previous experience in a workshop, manufacturing, or warehouse setting
• Physically capable of manual handling (lifting up to approximately 20–30 kg)
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills when dealing with team members
• Ability to manage workload and adapt to changing priorities
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol test
• Full Australian working rights
• Ability to start immediately

Qualifications & Certifications

• Forklift licence (LF)

What's On Offer / Benefits

• Rate: $35/hr – $40/hr + Super (depending on experience)
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30am – 4:30pm
• Employment Type: Temp to Perm
• Location: Maddington
