Pearl Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Vacuum Truck Operators to join a growing civil services company with a strong pipeline of work across Perth's southern suburbs and Garden Island.
With a significant amount of work secured on Garden Island through to at least May 2027, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for consistent, permanent full-time work with a company that is continuing to grow.
About the Role
- 12-hour shifts
- Predominantly Monday to Friday, with very minimal weekend work
- Weekend hours paid at 1.5x
- Work primarily based around Garden Island and the SOR
- Ongoing work with the potential for long-term employment
- Operating modern vacuum truck equipment across a range of civil and industrial projects
- Opportunity to join a growing fleet and company backed by an established business with 10+ years of industry experience
About You
To be considered for this position, you will have:
- HR Driver's Licence - automatic licence is absolutely fine
- Experience operating vacuum trucks
- Construction White Card
- Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain one
- Traffic Management experience/tickets are highly regarded but not essential
- A strong commitment to safety
- Reliable work ethic and good communication skills
- Ability to work long 12-hour shifts
The Fleet
The current fleet includes STG Global, Vermeer and King Vac trucks, with four trucks currently in operation and plans to continue expanding the fleet. The company has an office based in Balcatta and is backed by an established business with more than 10 years of experience.
What's on Offer?
- $48-$50 per hour flat rate
- 1.5x weekend rate - although weekend work is very minimal
