The Opportunity

• Granny Smith Gold Mine, Laverton WA
• Owner-operated site, investing heavily in modern mining technology and equipment
• FIFO from Perth, working an 8/6 7/7 roster, dayshift and nightshift

Skills & Qualifications

• Australian recognised Heavy Mechanical Trade Qualification or Cert III in Mobile Plant Technology
• Automotive Air Conditioning Licence desirable
• High Risk Licences including Forklift, EWP, Basic Rigging and Dogging desirable
• Valid WA Manual Driver’s Licence at minimum
• Experience working in a mining environment, preferably underground
• Proven mechanical experience on heavy mining equipment across servicing, preventative maintenance, fault finding and repair work, with the ability to interpret hydraulic systems and schematics
• Exposure to SAP desirable

While we recognise not everyone will tick every box, we strongly encourage tradespeople with experience working on heavy mining equipment across surface/open pit mining operations to apply, including those who have recently completed their apprenticeship.
