Job Description
About the Company
At Gold Fields, we believe great leadership is grounded in empathy, respect, and growth. Join Gold Fields and be part of a company where people, passion, and purpose come together to create enduring value — beyond mining.
Join an organisation endorsed by WORK180 for our commitment to creating an environment where inclusion and belonging matter, and you can build meaningful, long-term careers in mining, with fabulous mentors to guide you through from day one.
We recognise that everyone’s circumstances are unique. We’re always open to conversations about flexible working arrangements that can help you balance work, family, and life.

Working closely with operational teams, you’ll collaborate, contribute and innovate to support consistent, high‑quality training outcomes across the site.
This role is offered on 8:6 roster FIFO from Perth, or residential for Kalgoorlie/Kambalda residents. Daily bus transportation is offered.
Why You’ll Love Working for Us
- Permanent role with a leading gold producer
- 6% site allowance
- Quarterly bonus up to 10%
- Private health insurance allowance
- 5 weeks annual leave
- long service leave after 5 years
- paid parental leave
- $10K employee referral bonus
What You’ll Do
- Design and develop clear, well‑structured training materials and assessment tools
- Work with key stakeholders to ensure training reflects real operational requirements
- Support a consistent approach to training delivery and competency assessment
- Maintain quality control and governance of training materials
- Identify gaps and support continuous improvement across training processes
What You’ll Bring
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
- Experience developing training materials and/or assessment tools
- Understanding of adult learning principles and training frameworks
- Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills
- A practical mindset with the confidence to challenge the status quo
- Exposure to learning management systems such as SuccessFactors or INX InTuition
- Experience using digital content development tools (e.g. Articulate 360, Easy Generator)
- Current C Class drivers licence
