Senior Health & Safety Advisor - Tritton Operations

The Nitty Gritty

Reporting to the Health, Safety & Training Superintendent, you will work closely with the team to model best practice in injury management, return-to-work, occupational health, and fitness for work—supporting a safe, healthy workplace and a ready, capable Mines Rescue team at Tritton Operations.

What you Bring

• Tertiary qualifications Work Health and Safety
• Qualification in Emergency Management / Mines Rescue
• A genuine passion for the health, safety, and risk reduction for our front-line personnel
• Experience in acute injury management and rehabilitation coordination
• Experience in drug and alcohol screening
• Ability to build strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
• Strong computer skills
• Willingness to extend your skill base to include and facilitate the site Risk Management and Investigation processes
• Desirable but not essential;
  • Previous site-based experience
  • Accredited Return to Work Coordinator
  • ICAM Investigations

The Company

Tritton Operations

Tritton Copper Operations is a long-life copper mine located near the towns of Nyngan and Cobar in central New South Wales. Commencing production in 2005, Tritton is 100% owned and operated by Aeris Resources and forms the cornerstone of our copper production.

Tritton mines from multiple sources and as we look to bring more mines into production, we are are transitioning to a ‘hub-and-spoke’ model where ore is transported to our centralised mill for processing.
