Dalgaranga is Ramelius’ newest high-grade underground mine, located northwest of Mount Magnet. With the Never Never and Pepper deposits, it strengthens long-term production and feeds the Mount Magnet hub, supporting Ramelius’ long-term growth strategy.

The Role

As a Trades Assistant, you’ll support our maintenance team across the mine site, village, and non-process infrastructure. You’ll assist tradespeople, handle basic maintenance, and keep tools, equipment, and work areas safe and organised. Making a direct impact on the smooth running of operations while building valuable skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Minor repairs, fixture replacements and basic utility upkeep across village facilities.
• Assist various trades with workshops, laydowns, lighting towers, fuel systems and water infrastructure.
• General building tasks such as doors, locks, fencing, signage and small repair jobs.
• Safe tool use, material transport, workshop organisation and clean work areas.
• Daily inspections, fuel delivery, JHAs, pre-starts and hazard reporting.

About You / Requirements

You’re a reliable, hands-on worker with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. Comfortable supporting trades across a variety of tasks, you bring mechanical aptitude, safe tool use, and a willingness to learn. Your adaptability and team focus make you a valuable part of a small, dynamic crew.

Skills & Attributes

• Experience as a TA, labourer, or trades support worker (mining preferred)
• Previous experience working in remote FIFO conditions
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Current driver’s licence; HR/MR and tickets (forklift, telehandler, EWP) desirable
• Strong communication skills, reliability, and commitment to safety
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities in remote or industrial environments
