Temporary Warehouse Assistant / Storeperson

Pearl Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Assistant / Storeperson to join our client, an international industry-leading distributor of aftermarket truck and bus parts.

This position is initially being offered as an estimated one-month temporary assignment, with a strong possibility of becoming ongoing or permanent for the right candidate.

Kewdale Location | Monday to Friday****8:00am - 4:30pm or 8:30am - 5:00pm
$35.00/hr + Super + Penalties
Approx. 1 Month Initial Assignment
Strong Potential to Become Ongoing / Permanent

What will this role see you doing?
Working as part of a busy warehouse team, you will assist with the day-to-day warehousing and logistics operations, including:

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Loading and unloading trucks and moving stock throughout the warehouse
• Operating a forklift where required
• Receiving, checking and putting away incoming stock
• Completing stocktakes and inventory counts
• Assisting walk-in customers with order collections and general enquiries
• Restocking and maintaining organised warehouse locations
• Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and compliant with safety standards
• Assisting with general warehouse duties as required

What do you need to be successful in this role?

• Previous warehousing / storeperson experience
• High Risk Forklift Licence preferred
• WA Driver's Licence and reliable transport
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Knowledge of the light or heavy automotive industry would be advantageous
• Full Australian working rights for the duration of the assignment
• Availability to commence immediately
