ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a Permanent role on a 40 hour per week, Day Shift roster. Our Worsley Refinery is a short drive from communities such as Collie (20 Minutes) & Bunbury (45 Minutes) which all offer an enviable country lifestyle. Surrounded by magnificent jarrah forests, pristine beaches and world-famous wineries, you will live and work in one of the most beautiful regions of Western Australia and still be home each night. 

Candidates should ideally live within an hour’s drive of Collie as there is no accommodation on site.

As the Technician Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for safely executing maintenance tasks on fixed plant equipment in line with schedules, procedures and site standards to support reliable operations.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

• Complete planned and corrective maintenance work orders via SAP systems
• Conduct diagnostics, repairs and root cause analysis to improve reliability
• Maintain accurate records of work activities, parts and equipment history
• Support continuous improvement of maintenance processes and procedures

ABOUT YOU

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• Experience maintaining fixed plant in a production or refinery environment
• Strong fault-finding skills with sound mechanical awareness
• Working effectively within maintenance and operations teams
• Using systems to track work, report issues and update task progress
• Demonstrating a proactive approach to safety and hazard reporting
• Communicating clearly and contributing to a supportive, team-focused culture

Qualifications for this position are:

• Australian recognised Mechanical Fitter trade certificate, Cert III in Mechanical Engineering (Fitter)
• Demonstrated written and oral English language proficiency
• C class drivers license
