About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Field Service Technician to join our Customer Support team in Kalgoorlie, delivering expert maintenance, diagnostics and repair services across a range of mining and construction equipment.
As a Field Service Technician, you'll be responsible for providing high-quality maintenance, diagnostic and repair services on Komatsu equipment at customer sites throughout the region.
This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical expertise, a commitment to safety, and a customer-focused approach.
Potential Annual Earnings: $234,000
Roster: FIFO 2:1 ex Perth
Role Located: Sunrise Dam - Must be currently living in Perth to be considered for the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
- Perform scheduled servicing, maintenance and component replacements
- Conduct testing and adjustments on machine operating and monitoring systems
- Complete accurate service documentation and technical reports
- Coordinate and support site-based maintenance activities
- Provide exceptional customer service and technical support
- Work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure equipment reliability and uptime
- Maintain the highest standards of safety, quality and workmanship
About You / Requirements
- Trade qualification as a Plant Mechanic or equivalent heavy diesel qualification
- Experience servicing and repairing mobile mining, construction or heavy equipment
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- A commitment to working safely in a field service environment
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Strong communication and customer relationship skills
- Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- Minimum MR Driver's Licence
- High Risk Work Licence (desirable)
Qualifications & Certifications
