Your Impact

Reporting to the Lead, Social Performance, we’re looking for a dynamic and people-focused professional to help bring our social performance commitments to life. As Team Lead – Social Performance, you’ll play a hands-on role in supporting the delivery and monitoring of programs that connect our Tanami operation with the local community.

This role is all about building strong relationships, coordinating meaningful initiatives, and ensuring our activities are aligned with our values and obligations. From engaging with Traditional Owners and local stakeholders to tracking social impact and supporting community partnerships—you’ll be right at the heart of it.

As part of our team, you will

  • Lead and support local stakeholder engagement to maintain strong community connections and uphold our social license to operate.
  • Assist in planning, implementing, and monitoring social investment initiatives, land use commitments, and human rights programs.
  • Contribute to Social Impact Assessments and Management Plans, including reporting and compliance tracking.
  • Ensure alignment with Social Performance standards, policies, and culturally appropriate grievance and feedback processes.
  • Engage with Traditional Owners and governance bodies to support permitting processes and ensure cultural considerations are respected.

Prerequisites for your success in this role

  • Qualification in Social Sciences, Sustainability, or a related field (preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience in cultural heritage and Indigenous engagement (preferred)
  • Strong experience in stakeholder engagement, conflict resolution, negotiation, cultural heritage, and project management.
  • Experience in Social Impact Assessments/Social Impact Management Plans and Social risk assessments
  • Knowledge of Social Performance in Mining context and Social Investment framework development,
  • Solid understanding of social performance, social impact, cultural heritage, and human rights frameworks.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Practical ability to use social performance tools and processes to deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence
  • Mask fit ready
