The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Civil Leading Hand for a long-term project based in the Scenic Rim (Tamborine area). This is a 12-month contract with strong potential to transition into a permanent role. You will lead site crews and play a key role in delivering high-quality road construction works safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise civil construction crews on site
• Coordinate daily activities and ensure timelines are met
• Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance on site
• Manage quality assurance and site documentation
• Interpret construction drawings and assist with planning

About You

• Proven experience in civil construction or roadworks
• Strong understanding of construction drawings
• Confident using site-based software (e.g. Dashpivot, SiteMate)
• Reliable, team-focused, and strong communicator

Must Have Skills

• White Card
• Driver’s Licence
• Full working rights in Australia
• Competent in use of app-based software. (Dashpivot / SiteMate / AssetVision highly desired)

Desirable Skills

• Certificate III or IV in Civil Construction
• Traffic Management Implementation (TMI)
• Experience on TMR or road infrastructure projects
• Stabilisation or pavement construction experience

Benefits

• $46.50 per hour (flat rate)
• Fully maintained company vehicle provided
• Monday–Friday day shift (38 hours/week)
