About the Role
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment within process plants and conveyor systems
- Maintain adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Lead and mentor a team of mechanical fitters, providing guidance and support
- Liaise with client representatives regarding technical queries, inspections, project scheduling and coordinating deliveries
- Maintain company standards for Quality Assurance purposes and accurate weekly reporting
- Manage labour relations and coordinate with the representative groups to ensure a harmonious workplace;
About You / Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Australian recognised trade certificate in Engineering (Mechanical)
- Experience working on a large-scale construction and/or maintenance projects in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of conveyor systems, balance machines, mineral processing plant, maintenance procedures and troubleshooting techniques
- Managing and driving completions and work crews.
- Well-honed project planning and scheduling skills.
- Strong leadership qualities and stakeholder management
