Strategic Projects Specialist

The Nitty Gritty

• Reporting to the Manager - Processing & Asset Maintenance you will manage all capital projects on site covering the Tailings Dam, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical.
• You will effectively partner with site leaders, engineers and corporate teams to define project scopes, deliverables and success measures and analyse the operational data to monitor project performance, identify bottlenecks, risks (operational, financial, safety) and process improvement opportunities and implement mitigation strategies.

What you Bring

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 5+ years in Mining and/or Heavy Industry Projects
• Unrestricted Manual Drivers Licence
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Highly influential and with the confidence to challenge the status quo positively
• Unwavering commitment to achieving a safe and healthy work environment for employees & contractors
• A demonstrable track record of delivering projects on time and on budget
