About the Role
As a Storeperson with NRW, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient receipt, dispatch and handling of goods, supporting freight movements and remote site requirements. You’ll maintain accurate documentation, ensure high housekeeping standards and provide reliable service to internal and external customers.
About the Site
Karara is the largest mining operation and the first major magnetite mine in the Mid-West. It produces a premium, high-grade concentrate product for export to steelmakers. With an expected life of 30+ years, it will underpin a long-term iron ore business and provide sustainable benefits to the regional community where we operate.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, dispatch, load and unload goods and freight in line with Chain of Responsibility requirements
- Pick, pack and prepare parts, tools and consumables for upcoming maintenance and operational work orders
- Coordinate freight and support logistics providers across Hazelmere Stores and remote sites
- Maintain accurate receipting, dispatch and freight documentation
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe Stores facility in line with NRW standards
- Complete general Stores duties and other tasks as directed, within your skills and qualifications

What we are looking for
- Australian Manual Drivers Licence
- Forklift ticket (essential)
- Australian work rights
- AMT experienced (desired)
- 3-5 years’ previous experience in a similar position Desirable
- Proven warehouse experience, including forklift operations, truck loading and load restraint.
- Strong knowledge of tooling, consumables, parts and warehouse operations.
- Excellent communication, organisation and customer service skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively within a team
