Job Description

15th October, 2026

We are seeking a hands-on, organised and customer-focused Site Supervisor to join a growing team overseeing residential remediation and repair works across a designated area. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified tradie looking to move into a supervisory role, using their practical industry knowledge to coordinate trades, manage projects and ensure quality outcomes without being on the tools full-time.

You will oversee the remediation of damage caused by defective polybutylene piping, managing warranty-related repairs from initial investigation through to completion. Working closely with clients, subcontractors and internal teams, you will ensure all works are completed efficiently, safely and to a high standard.

What's on Offer?

  • Salary Circa $90,000-$95,000 + super
  • Permanent full-time role with full benefits
  • Company vehicle, laptop and mobile phone provided
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm
  • Opportunity to transition from a trade-based role into supervision
  • A varied role combining site visits, project coordination and client interaction

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise residential remediation and repair projects.
  • Investigate burst pipe incidents and manage warranty-related repair works.
  • Oversee subcontractors, ensuring work is completed to the required quality standards and within agreed timeframes.
  • Conduct site inspections, monitor workmanship and identify areas for improvement.
  • Liaise with clients, providing regular updates throughout the repair process.
  • Coordinate trades, suppliers, personnel and resources to keep projects running smoothly.
  • Maintain accurate job records, incident reports and project documentation.
  • Ensure all works meet relevant industry standards, compliance requirements and warranty obligations.
  • Work closely with Restoration Consultants and provide support to other Supervisors when required.

What We're Looking For

  • A trade background in plumbing, building, maintenance or a related construction field, with a desire to move off the tools.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory, leading hand or coordinating role will be highly regarded.
  • Understanding of residential building processes, repairs and warranty requirements.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Confidence coordinating subcontractors and holding trades accountable for quality workmanship.
  • Good computer skills and the ability to use job management systems.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Plumbing knowledge would be an advantage, but it is not essential. We are particularly interested in someone with solid practical trade experience who is ready to take on more responsibility and develop their career in supervision.
