About the Role
Reporting to the Blasting Supervisor you will be responsible for fundamentally contributing to the success of the blast team on site.
- Ensuring Day to day field operations, including targets are met
- A safe and healthy workplace for all employees is maintained
- Community and Environmental compliance objectives are adhered to
- Transport and Delivery of dangerous goods is safely conducted
- Housekeeping in magazines, magazine compound, explosive vehicles and work areas are kept to high levels
Roster and Location
- Lifestyle roster, day shift only
- Based on site at HVO (off Lemington Road)
About You / Requirements
- A current NSW Security Clearance (UHL) and Shot firing Blasting Explosives Users Licence (EUL) for Open Cut Coal Mining
- Experience in Shot firing operations using electronic and Nonel initiation systems
- Experience in stock management and bulk material loading
- Collaborative communication skills
- Ability to work in a fluid/dynamic environment as part of an adaptive team
- Self-driven and able to work autonomously in the field
