About the Role

Reporting to the Blasting Supervisor you will be responsible for fundamentally contributing to the success of the blast team on site.

• Ensuring Day to day field operations, including targets are met
• A safe and healthy workplace for all employees is maintained
• Community and Environmental compliance objectives are adhered to
• Transport and Delivery of dangerous goods is safely conducted
• Housekeeping in magazines, magazine compound, explosive vehicles and work areas are kept to high levels

Roster and Location

• Lifestyle roster, day shift only
• Based on site at HVO (off Lemington Road)

About You / Requirements

• A current NSW Security Clearance (UHL) and Shot firing Blasting Explosives Users Licence (EUL) for Open Cut Coal Mining
• Experience in Shot firing operations using electronic and Nonel initiation systems
• Experience in stock management and bulk material loading
• Collaborative communication skills
• Ability to work in a fluid/dynamic environment as part of an adaptive team
• Self-driven and able to work autonomously in the field
