This is a great opportunity to join our North West Maintenance Team working on the Yara Fertilisers Major Plant Shutdown. We are seeking experienced and reliable Sheet Metal Workers to join our team. The Role
- Install all types of metal cladding systems
- Fit and secure sheet metal components to piping systems, ductwork, and mechanical equipment.
- Install insulation, flashings, brackets, supports, and weatherproofing materials as required.
- Ensure all installations meet project specifications, engineering drawings, and safety standards.
- Perform onsite fabrication of sheet metal components using cutting, bending, folding, and forming equipment.
- Fabricate and install metal components for piping systems, including supports, guards and enclosures.
- Measure, mark, and layout materials according to project requirements.
- Perform welding, riveting, bolting, and fastening of sheet metal assemblies.
- Operate hand tools, power tools and fabrication machinery
About You
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
- Current High risk elevating work platform license
- Current Working Safely at Heights Certificate
- Current Drivers Licence
- Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (Applicable to 1st Class only)
- Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card (White Card)
- Previous construction, oil and gas experience preferred
- Ability to complete and pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
