Your Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer join our Engineering Team. Reporting to the Civil/Structural Discipline Engineering Manager you will be required to work across a continuous succession of projects as they progress through the project lifecycle from early concept development, detailed design, construction and commissioning.

This role will be based in our Osborne Park head office initially however by the end of 2026 we will be relocating to our new Head Office on St Georges Tce, Perth.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance of design products with the Design Procedure.
• Produce and ensure design products comply with applicable legislation, standards, client, third party and project requirements.
• Ensure technical compliance of design products.
• Ensure design products are delivered in accordance with the project budget and schedule.
• Ensure designs are fit for purpose and consider all aspects including, cost, constructability, operability and maintainability.

What You ‘Can Do’

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering (recognised by IEAust).
• 6+ years’ structural engineering experience in the design of steel and concrete structures for the mining/mineral processing sectors.
• Thorough knowledge and practical application of relevant industry standards and codes of practice.
• Experience with structural engineering software packages such as Space Gass and Strand7 essential.
• Ability to rapidly understand and assimilate project and client specific requirements.
• Knowledge and practical application of design theories, principles and practices.
• Experience with development of technical engineering documents, drawings, schedules, and models.
• A team player with the ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplined project teams.
• Site experience during construction is advantageous.
• Demonstrated planning and organisation skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to continued professional development.
• Strong work ethic.
