The Opportunity:
You’ll work closely with a diverse, high-performing team that embodies our core values and fuels our success as a Senior Mine Planning Engineer at Agnew Gold Mine.
Reporting to the Superintendent: Mine Planning, you’ll deliver project planning, evaluation, and scheduling that drives our medium and long-term success for the operation

What You’ll Do
- Ensure the business can make informed decisions by identifying, planning, and communicating extraction strategies, critical path, and high-risk areas as part of an iterative scenario planning process.
- Create, support, and manage underground short to medium term mine design, scheduling and evaluation work, including design of all aspects of an underground mine, including ventilation, backfill, and other infrastructure.
- Role model our core values and create a culture where every team member feels seen, supported, and valued.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering,
- First Class Mine Managers Certificate of Competency is desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in managing/leading a team in a collaborative manner
- Extensive underground mining experience in production, ventilation, projects, paste fill, planning and scheduling.
