Senior Estimator

About the Role

About this role Reporting to senior leadership, the Senior Estimator will take ownership of the estimating process from initial scope through to tender submission. You will work closely with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure accurate, competitive, and timely submissions. The inital project is a $40M re-measure with another landing in 3 weeks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead estimating for projects across multiple sectors up to $100 million
• Experience in Quantity Take-off with measurement experience
• Prepare and review detailed cost plans, estimates, and tender documentation
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Analyse risk, pricing, and procurement strategies to deliver competitive bids
• Mentor and guide junior estimating staff

About You / Requirements

• Has proven experience as a Senior Estimator in construction
• Has worked across diverse commercial construction projects
• Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial building estimation
• Proficiency in CostX estimating software
• In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies and project costing processes
• Has experience managing projects up to $100 million
• Possesses strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
