About the Role

You will play a key role in maintaining the integrity, safety and performance of our electrical systems. In this role, you will:

• Keep Agnew’s electrical standards up to date and compliant with national and international regulations
• Lead the electrical scope of major projects and maintenance activities within the Processing Plant and Non-Processing Infrastructure
• Provide technical advice to contractors and ensure work meets best practice
• Collaborate with end users to ensure smooth handovers of new or upgraded equipment, including documentation and spare parts
• Support project cost control and budget management
• Champion our values, ethics and safety-first culture
• Lead work programs including Defect Elimination, Equipment efficiency and Decarbonisation.
• Provide leadership to the Engineering team and prioritise incoming work

About You

You’ll bring strong technical capability, a collaborative mindset and a commitment to safe, high-quality work. You have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (essential) with significant heavy industry or mining experience
• Project management qualifications and experience (highly regarded)
• HV distribution experience
• Current manual C-class licence
• Advanced SAP and Microsoft Office skills
• Strong communication, teamwork and values alignment
