Senior Controls Systems Engineer

About the Company

Our Client, a Control systems and electrical engineering firm are currently seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer to join their team to handle a large key account on a full time, permeant basis. Their offices are based in Kewdale with occasional travel to the Pilbara.

The opportunity

• Full-time, permanent
• Perth-based with occasional travel to Pilbara sites
• $160K-$180K + super, depending on experience
• Senior, client-facing role
• Work across BHP mine, rail and port control systems

About you

• 5 - 8+ years' control systems engineering experience
• Strong mining / resources background
• Demonstrated BHP Iron Ore experience is essential
• Experience across WAIO assets such as Newman, Jimblebar, South Flank, Mining Area C, Nelson Point or Finucane Island
• Relevant Electrical, Instrumentation or Control Systems qualification
• Current WA driver's licence and ability to obtain BHP site access

Desirable

• Rockwell Automation experience/certification
• AVEVA/OSIsoft PI or Wonderware Historian
• Rail or port control systems experience
• Siemens PLC experience
• Project or team leadership experience
