Senior Advisor Health & Safety

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Health and Safety Advisor to join our Sustainability team.  The role will report to the Superintendent Health Safety & Training and provide leadership to six Advisors supporting our three underground, two open pit mines and processing areas.

This opportunity will allow you to engage with stakeholders across our mining operations and the broader Sustainability team.  No two days will be the same, offering lots of great challenges to enable you to make your mark on our growing operation!

The position will be on an 8:6 (12-hour day) roster, FIFO from Perth or based residentially in Kalgoorlie (relocation support within Australia provided).

About You / Requirements

• You must have demonstrated leadership experience in applying health & hygiene, injury management, security, and emergency response principles in a mining environment.
• Qualification in Health & Safety
• 5+ years working in a mining environment managing others
• Underground mining operational experience is essential
• Competent in writing and reviewing management plans, procedures, work method statements and other related system documentation.
• Experience with facilitating risk assessments (WRAC, JSA)
• Experience with ICAM investigations (completion of ICAM training)
• Experience using INX and Pronto systems (highly regarded).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
