About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and skilled Rock Tools Technician based in Zeehan, Tasmania to join our team at the Mine. If you have a passion for the mining industry and are eager to contribute to a dynamic and innovative company, this entry-level opportunity is for you! A rock tools technician works between the workshop and the underground mine site

Key Responsibilities

• Remove all worn and damaged rock tools from the drill sites
• Safely transport drilling consumables such as drill bits and drill steels to various drill rigs underground.
• Ensure smooth and efficient drilling operations, minimising downtime and maximising productivity.

This is a residential role in Zeehan and no accommodation is provided.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful for this role, you must be residing in Zeehan

• Manual Driver's License: Essential for transporting materials.
• Medical Clearance: Ability to pass a full functional medical.
• Background Check: Hays police check required.
• Experience: Previous labouring experience is a must
