About the Role

Reporting to the Project Superintendent, this position will be responsible for a wide range of tasks from planning, coordinating and supervising daily activities of work crews, ensuring compliance with internal, client and legislative HSE requirements through to ensuring that the quality, production and environmental requirements of the project are met.

• Roster: FIFO 3:3
• Based on site in Papua New Guinea
• There may be additional ongoing work following the completion of the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise daily activities of work crews
• Ensure compliance with internal, client and legislative HSE requirements
• Ensure that the quality, production and environmental requirements of the project are met

About You / Requirements

• Australian recognised trade or tertiary qualification in a related discipline
• Demonstratable experience working as a Rigging Supervisor overseeing earthworks and concrete scopes within the resources sector
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate a national workforce in the field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong time management skills and demonstrable experience achieving tight deadlines
• Proven track record of maintaining a safe working environment
• Proof of right to work in Australia and a valid passport
• Experience working in PNG or remote locations (highly regarded)

• Australian recognised trade or tertiary qualification in a related discipline
