We have an enticing Maintenance Supervisor – Tracked Equipment position awaiting you at the iconic KCGM Superpit that boasts a +10-year mine life. Promising a long term and fulfilling future, join our esteemed Open Pit Mobile Maintenance team on the family friendly residential roster of 8:6, 7:7 12.5hr days & nights working less than 10 minutes from home or FIFO from Perth.
Here’s what awaits you:

- Leading the Maintenance Operations teams in a safe and productive work environment by ensuring all work practices/procedures meet statutory, Company OHS and company operational standards within the Maintenance Department.
- Supervising Maintenance personnel to ensure the effective maintenance of Ultra-Class Face Shovels, Hydraulic Excavators and Ancillary support equipment so the department KPI’s are met and the business targets and goals are achieved.
- Attending pre/post planning and work management to review workorders, compliance to plan in the department.
- Ensuring all activities are conducted to achieve lowest cost and maximise machine reliability support production. Carry out receipting of workorders and parts ordered in the department in line with the company purchasing procedures.
- Completing accurate and timely shift reports and arrange shift coverage and rosters. Monitoring attendance, managing noncompliance, ensuring adherence to the companies polices & procedures.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
Qualifications: Mechanical Trade or engineering qualification, Current Unencumbered Western Australian “C” Class Drivers Licence, Statutory Supervisor Certification (section 26, Formal Leadership and Supervisory Training (Desirable), Current Police Clearance, Western Australian Construction White Card, St Johns Senior First Aid Certificate (desirable).
Desired Experience: A minimum of Ten (10) years mechanical maintenance experience including a minimum of Five (5) years in a Supervisor role in a similar sized operation, Experience on Komatsu and Liebherr Ultra Class Mining Equipment. Strong leadership experience and ability to engage and empower large teams. Experience in performance management of team members with the ability to coach, mentor and empower others. Excellent computer literacy with ability to use integrated management systems, Microsoft office suite, INX, Pronto and AMT. Strong understanding of Maintenance work management processes. Able to plan and or anticipate likely scenarios as related to all key responsibility areas. Ability to develop appropriate action plans in order to respond to current and emerging issues. Flexibility to adopt to improved procedures and practices. Awareness of the Mines Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations.
