Due to continued growth across Queensland, Linkforce is seeking experienced Riggers to work at our operation in the Bowen Basin. This is a casual position offered on an ongoing long-term roster working a lifestyle-friendly 7/7 roster. October start.
About the Role
Working as part of a close-knit, high-performing team, you will conduct rigging and lifting activities across structural remediation and maintenance services on the onsite Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP). Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing complex lifts involving crushers, conveyors, motors, gearboxes and structural components
- Installing and dismantling rigging equipment including chain blocks, slings and lifting beams
- Assisting with equipment positioning, alignment and component change-outs
- Working safely and in strict accordance with lifting plans, permit-to-work and isolation procedures
- Complete pre-starts, JHAs and risk assessments
- Work safely in accordance with permit-to-work systems, isolation procedures, site requirements and applicable Australian Standards
What You’ll Need
- You will be an experienced Rigger with a strong commitment to safety and previous experience on fixed-plant maintenance. You will have:
- High Risk Work Licence – RI or RA
- CN HRWL - experience with Franna Cranes is highly advantageous
- Minimum 12 months rigging experience
- Working at Heights & Confined Space (within 2 years)
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence (MR or HR preferred)
- Valid Australian work rights
- Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain)
- BMA Core Inductions or SC Number is Highly Advantageous
- Ability to work effectively with site management and clients
