About the Role

This is a volume, blue-collar position.

• You’ll pick up the phone and find people.
• Depending on the desk that’s best fit for you, you might be picking up existing relationships with solid history or building something from the ground up.
• The fundamentals stay the same: conversations with clients and candidates, growing your pipeline.
• You’ll spend the first few weeks building momentum and getting to know your market.
• When the calls start landing and the right candidates start responding, you’ll feel the desk moving.
• When you’re in that rhythm of talent pooling and marketing good candidates to clients, you’ve got the opportunity to work on what can become a high-earning desk.
• You’ll be based in West Perth. A 5-minute walk from the CBD. You can enjoy flexible working with one day from home each week.
• When you need a holiday, we’ll look after your desk, so you’re not coming back to 500 emails.
• MPI provides support from experienced coaches and teams: business development, marketing, integrated tech, onboarding, and payroll.

About You / Requirements

• You have a desire to succeed.
• You enjoy building relationships and you’re comfortable having honest conversations with people.
• You can easily pick up on what people need and you enjoy working in a supportive team.
• Experience in technical recruitment helps, ideally 18 months or more.
• Experience in blue collar mining is a bonus, but it’s not essential.
