The Role
Reporting to the Senior Mine Geologist, you will support day-to-day underground mine geology at Mt Magnet, with a focus on grade control and geological interpretation to ensure planned tonnes and grade are delivered safely and accurately, including:
- Carrying out underground grade control, sampling and geological mapping
- Maintaining JORC-compliant geological models and databases
- Supporting drilling programs and QAQC processes
- Assisting with reconciliation, end-of-month reporting and geology claims
- Providing geological interpretation to support mining decisions
- Working closely with mining and technical teams to optimise outcomes
About You
We're looking for someone who brings:
- A Bachelor of Science in Geology or Geosciences
- 2 to 4 years' experience in mine geology, with underground and gold experience preferred
- Exposure to Archean greenstone gold systems
- Experience with Micromine and Leapfrog
- A current West Australian C Class (manual) driver's licence and the ability to obtain a National Police Clearance for site access clearance.
