Principal People Systems

Our Opportunity

• Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.
• Roster: Monday to Friday - 12 month contract
• We’re looking for an experienced People Systems professional to play a key role in supporting and enhancing our People systems landscape. In this role you will act as a key interface between the People teams and Technology, translating business requirements into functional solutions and ensuring successful delivery across our SAP SuccessFactors and SAP S/4HANA HCM platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with People (HR) stakeholders to gather, interpret, and translate business requirements into clear functional specifications
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the People systems landscape
• Provide subject matter expertise across SAP SuccessFactors (Employee Central and Compensation) and SAP S/4HANA HCM, with a strong focus on payroll and time management support
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business needs and quality standards
• Provide day-to-day system support, troubleshoot system issues and resolve within agreed SLAs
• Provide leadership and mentorship to other members within the systems team

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong experience with SAP SuccessFactors, particularly Employee Central
• Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA HCM, with a focus on payroll processes and support
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to clearly document requirements
• Confidence working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• A degree in Information Technology, Human Resources or a related field; or equivalent practical experience in a similar role
