About the Role
- Lead the evaluation and triaging of digital opportunities through to adoption into the relevant technology and digital programs across BHP
- Coordinate the connectivity of the BHP Invent Ecosystem Open Innovation approach including the Open House and Accelerator Program to BHP Digital and Technology Teams
- Drive the identification of key internal customer needs to be met through connection to the external Ecosystem
- Lead the digital ecosystem insights and market intelligence reporting aligned to the needs of internal customers
- Lead and coordinate the identification and representation into prioritised key global ecosystem collaborations, events and publications that further advance BHPs Digital and Innovation objectives
- Lead the mutual value capture process for identified key digital projects with partners ensuring clarity in risk identification across IP, partnership, funding and commercialisation aspects of digital technology development
- Coordinate the development of any Joint Ventures and Strategic Relationships to support the successful and accelerated delivery at the intersection of the digital and innovation portfolio in line with the Global Ecosystem Approach
- Embodies “One Technical” and collaborates with key internal stakeholders to leverage BHP’s full capability

About You
- Deep experience and understanding of Digital Technologies and how these are integrating with complex physical tech environments
- Experience in establishment of partnering and mutual value capture processes across digital businesses and start ups
- Experience working with senior stakeholders internally and externally and leading high profile complex partnerships and negotiations
